ACTION FOR CLIMATE

TAKE ACTION FOR CLIMATE – eTwinning project

started with 8 partners from Turkiye, 2 Romania, 1 Italy and 1 Poland (our
school)

The main aim of this project is to help students become aware of climate change and
environmental issues. It also aims to encourage them to develop sustainable lifestyles,
as environmentally conscious individuals, and create social awareness on these topics.

Aims:
1. Understanding climate change and its effects.
2. Raising awareness about sustainable lifestyles.
3. Developing awareness about protecting natural resources.
4. Creating a sense of personal responsibility by adopting eco-friendly behaviours.
5. Producing creative solutions for environmental problems.
6. Learning to use digital tools effectively in the fight against climate change.
7. Developing research, scientific thinking, and presentation skills about the environment.
8. Gaining teamwork experience by collaborating internationally on environmental issues.
9. Learning about local and global issues related to climate change.
10. Instilling a love for nature and the environment in students to raise awareness about the need to
protect nature.

dzieci uczestniczących w połączeniach komunikacyjnych, takich jak programy, krótkie

Expected Results:
1. Students will understand the effects of climate change better.
2. They will learn about sustainable lifestyles and start practicing them.
3. They will adopt eco-friendly behaviours and build personal responsibility.
4. They will create creative and innovative solutions for environmental problems.
5. They will use digital tools to create projects for environmental issues.
6. They will improve their presentation and reporting skills by doing scientific research.
7. They will gain experience in teamwork and develop cooperation skills.
8. They will become more aware of protecting the environment.
9. They will raise social awareness about climate change.

PLAN OF ACTIVITIES:
1. Our cities, schools on the map and presentations
2. Netiquette of the project
3. Virtual handshakes of students and teachers

5. First Month - What is Climate Change?
12.1 Activity 1: Students will research climate change and present their findings on posters in class.
12.2 Activity 2: A short animated film about the effects of climate change will be watched, followed
by a discussion.
12.3 Activity 3: An interactive map showing the effects of climate change on the world will be
created on digital platforms.
6. Second month - Seeking Solutions
13.1 Activity 1: Green Living Plan - Students will go on a nature walk to observe biodiversity.
13.2 Activity 2: An e-book about energy saving and renewable energy sources will be created.
13.3 Activity 3: Students will prepare a plan for sustainable behaviors they can apply in their lives.
They will share their plans using presentations, videos, concept maps, etc.
7. Third month - Back to the Future
14.1 Activity 1: Students will prepare artistic projects (posters, videos, presentations) with solutions
for climate change and showcase them online.
14.2 Activity 2: An international quiz about climate change will be organized.
14.3 Activity 3: A final webinar will be held where students will share their experiences and what
they learned during the project.
